1. Introduction & Acceptance

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Sogno Casa Design & Contracting website (“Site”), and the design, renovation, construction, fitout and related services (“Services”) we provide. By browsing this Site, submitting an enquiry, booking a consultation, or engaging us for a project, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please discontinue use of the Site and contact us directly to discuss your requirements before proceeding.

2. About Sogno Casa

Sogno Casa Design & Contracting is a Dubai-based design house offering interior design, royal & classic renovation, construction & fitout, engineering & approvals, bespoke furniture & kitchens, curtains & blinds, and landscaping services for residential and commercial clients across the UAE.

References to “Sogno Casa”, “we”, “us” or “our” refer to Sogno Casa Design & Contracting. References to “you” or “client” refer to the person or entity using the Site or engaging our Services.

3. Use of This Website

  • Content on this Site — including text, images, project photography, logos, floor plans and 3D renders — is provided for general information about our studio and portfolio.
  • You may not copy, reproduce, republish or use our project photography, renders or written content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
  • We update project images, pricing indications and service descriptions periodically; details on the Site are illustrative and may not reflect the final scope, material or cost of any specific project.
  • You agree not to misuse the Site (e.g. attempting unauthorised access, introducing malicious code, or scraping content) or use it in a way that could damage, disable or impair its operation.

4. Enquiries, Consultations & Quotations

Submitting an enquiry or booking a consultation through the Site does not create a binding contract between you and Sogno Casa. A working relationship begins only once a formal proposal, quotation or contract has been reviewed and signed by both parties.

  • Initial consultations are used to understand your vision, space and budget; any figures discussed at this stage are indicative only.
  • Formal quotations are issued in writing following a site visit, measurement and scope review, and remain valid for the period stated on the quotation (typically 30 days unless noted otherwise).
  • Final pricing depends on confirmed scope, material selection, site conditions and any changes requested after design sign-off.

5. Project Engagement, Payment & Timelines

Once a proposal is accepted, project terms — including payment schedule, milestones, materials, and timeline — are set out in a separate signed agreement specific to your project. These website Terms do not override the terms of that signed agreement; where the two conflict, the signed project agreement takes precedence.

  • Projects are typically structured around a deposit followed by staged payments linked to design, procurement and construction/fitout milestones.
  • Timelines communicated verbally, on the Site, or in early proposals are estimates. Confirmed timelines are issued once design is finalised, approvals (where required) are secured, and materials are confirmed available.
  • Delays caused by client-requested changes, late approvals, third-party authority approvals, or supply availability are outside our control and may adjust the agreed timeline.

6. Design Ownership & Intellectual Property

  • Concept designs, mood boards, 3D visualisations, drawings and technical documentation prepared by Sogno Casa remain our intellectual property until full payment for the relevant design stage has been received.
  • Once paid in full, the client receives a licence to use the finalised designs for the specific property/project they were created for. Designs may not be reused for another property, resold, or shared with a third-party contractor without our written consent.
  • With client permission, Sogno Casa may photograph completed projects and feature them in our portfolio, on this Site, and on social media for promotional purposes. Clients who prefer privacy may opt out in writing at the start of the project.

7. Client Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information about the property, site access, existing structural or MEP conditions, and any building/community/landlord approval requirements.
  • Respond to design approvals, material selections and payment requests within the timeframes agreed, as delays on your side may affect the project schedule.
  • Secure any third-party approvals that are the client’s responsibility under the signed project agreement (e.g. landlord no-objection certificates, community/developer approvals), unless Sogno Casa has explicitly agreed to manage this on your behalf.

8. Warranties

Sogno Casa provides workmanship in line with the standards agreed in your project contract. Specific warranty periods for construction, fitout and furniture work are set out in your signed agreement and/or supplier warranty documents, and vary by scope of work and materials used.

Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, lack of maintenance, alterations carried out by third parties after handover, or normal wear and tear.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under UAE law, Sogno Casa’s liability for any claim arising from the Site or from Services is limited to the value of the relevant signed project agreement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including loss of use, loss of rental income, or loss of data, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud, or excludes any liability that cannot be excluded under UAE law.

10. Force Majeure

Sogno Casa is not liable for delay or failure to perform obligations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, government action, changes in law, strikes, supply chain disruption, or public health emergencies.

11. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential any non-public information shared during the course of a project — including floor plans, budgets, and personal details — and to use it only for the purpose of delivering the project, unless disclosure is required by law.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Services, are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the applicable laws of the Emirate of Dubai. Disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Dubai, unless the signed project agreement specifies an alternative dispute resolution mechanism (e.g. arbitration or DIFC courts).

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. The version published on the Site at the time of your enquiry or engagement applies. Material changes affecting an active signed project agreement will be communicated to you directly.
